Canada Accused of Complicity in Gaza "Genocide."
The regime media in Canada isn’t reporting it. Sandinista-ruled Nicaragua has declared its intentions to take Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, and the Netherlands to the International Court of Justice for their participation in supposedly helping Israel in a "genocidal" war in Gaza.
You read that right. The Sandinista regime is accusing Canada of human rights transgressions. Yet, Nicaragua is far from a human rights heaven. It has become worse than Cuba and Venezuela. It is the worst violator of human rights in the hemisphere, and a new UN Human Rights Council-mandated reports alleges crimes against humanity at the hands of the Ortega regime.
But truth is often the first casualty in war and politics as Trudeau showed Canadians with his invocation of the Emergencies Act. The pro-Sandinista propaganda is well underway, and the narrative will be familiar to many. Today’s discourse (see quote below) could easily have been lifted out of the pages of North American and European media in the 1980s. The Sandinistas are the heroes of the story:
"Nicaragua...is showing the world how to defend human rights without resorting to the destruction of war or sanctions. Nicaragua doesn’t just talk about the international rule of law, it makes use of the structures that exist for the purpose of holding countries accountable for their actions."
